Paint for working spaces

A fresh coat without closing the doors

Paint is the simplest way to make a business look cared for, and the easiest to postpone, because nobody wants to close for it. JACCO paints small commercial spaces, including offices, shops, waiting rooms and common areas, along with the exteriors of small buildings, and plans the work around when your space is busy. Painting is one of the trades handled by JACCO’s own crew, so the people prepping your walls are the same ones who finish high-end homes.

Commercial walls take more abuse than residential ones. Chairs, carts, deliveries and constant foot traffic scuff corners and lower walls, so finish choice matters: more washable sheens in busy areas, flatter finishes on ceilings and coatings suited to restrooms and kitchenettes. Preparation matters even more. Patching, sanding, caulking and priming are what make a commercial paint job hold up, and they are written into the scope rather than left to judgment on the day.

Exterior work follows the same logic: wash, scrape, repair and prime before any paint goes on. Rotted trim and siding are repaired as carpentry rather than filled and painted over. For larger renovations, painting can be scheduled as part of a commercial remodel, and homeowners can find our residential work on the house painting page.

Why JACCO

Painting around people, stock and schedules

Scheduled around your traffic

We map out which rooms can be painted when, so the space keeps working while each area is finished. Odor, drying time and access are planned with you before the first drop cloth goes down.

Furniture, floors and stock protected

Desks, displays, inventory and flooring are moved or covered before work starts. Each area is cleaned and reset at the end of the day, so the space is ready for business the next morning.

Prep that holds up to traffic

Holes are filled, edges sanded, gaps caulked and stains spot-primed before any color goes on, and each finish is chosen for how the surface is used. Scuff-prone walls get a sheen that can be cleaned without wearing through.

“They were on time, polite, professional, and protected my furniture while painting.”

More remodeling FAQs

Can painting happen during business hours?

Usually, yes. We plan the work in sections so part of the space stays usable while another part is painted, and we schedule the most disruptive areas for slower days or hours where possible. Low-odor coatings help in occupied spaces. The sequence, and how we handle a section that needs extra drying time, is settled with you before work begins.

How do you choose paint finishes for a commercial space?

By how each surface is used. Corridors, lower walls and doors take the most contact, so they get a finish that can be wiped without burnishing. Ceilings usually get a flat finish that hides imperfections, while restrooms and kitchenettes need coatings that stand up to moisture. Colors and sheens are recorded in writing before work starts, so later touch-ups are easy to match.

Do you paint rental properties between tenants?

We can. Turning a rental between tenants often combines drywall patching, paint, trim repairs and sometimes flooring, and those trades are all part of what JACCO does. Because the window between tenants is usually tight, we confirm the scope and schedule before the previous tenant moves out whenever possible.
